NotesThis report examines the history of native fisher populations in Oregon and conditions necessary to reintroduce them to western Oregon. Currently, there are two resident populations, one in the Kalmiopsis, and another reintroduced population in the southern Oregon Cascades. This report indicates that there is habitat in the northern Coast Range and in the northern Cascades that could provide good sites for reintroduction.
