The Reedsport Fish Co., which in 1918 bought the salmon cannery of the Umpqua River Co-operative Packing Company, purchased the Umpqua Packing Company’s plant in Reedsport in 1919. “The acquisition of this plant practically doubles the facilities of the Reedsport Fish Company, which last season built up an important business in fresh fish and canned sardines, and has made arrangements for considerable expansion in the latter department this year.’ |
