Notes | Covers 1910. "Umpqua Hatchery . . . On account of not being properly equipped at this new location to properly care for the fry which would hatch from the 6,699,700 chinook eggs taken from this station during the past season, it was deemed a better policy to transfer four million of same to some of our other hatcheries where the crews were less successful in getting sufficient eggs to fill the capacity of their respective stations, and it was therefore, decided to ship 452,000 to the Siuslaw, 450,000 to the Alsea, 500,000 to the Yaquina and 2,520,000 to the Bonneville Central Hatchery."
