Notes | Where a female salmon decides to lay her eggs has a great deal to do with whether any of the eggs survive to eventually return to the spawning stream. This thesis looks at site selection to see what factors might influence the decision of where to spawn. Interestingly, placement of large woody debris in engineered logjams did not seem to positively influence spawning site location. Jason B. Dunham was the major professor. |
