NotesBrief news item. “The time for starting the fall season on the Umpqua River, Oregon, was fixed at Aug. 25, at a meeting of Henry O’Malley, of the U.S. Bureau of Fisheries, R. E. Clanton, Oregon Master Fish Warden, and the fishermen on Auig. 5. The spring prices remained in effect until the date mentioned, after which the fall prices as announced previously by the Food Administration took effect.”
