NotesIn this thesis, the author examines two populations of the Oregon chub, one group from the Willamette River, and another from the Umpqua River, to see if they might be different species. She concludes that they are sub-species and formally describes them. The two groups have been subsequently recognized as different species. The major professor was Douglas F. Markle.
