Water quality, chemistry and streamflow were analyzed in 1911/1912 and a chart showing measurements is included. “The water changes in quality very little from season to season, for the forests prevent rapid and excessive erosion following heavy rains and keep the run-off distributed to some extent… Human or animal pollution is slight…” (p.48) |
