NotesThis is a supplement to the Umpqua Stream Temperature 2003 document. Fate Creek was closest to the optimum temperature (64 degrees F) for cold-water fish, and the South Umpqua and Days Creek far exceeded it. "This study again confirms the concept that much of the Umpqua Basin has bulk summer stream temperatures that exceed the optimum for cold-water fish."
