Notes | This is an update to the original (2002) status review. There seems to be a division between the Rogue and Klamath River green sturgeon, and Sacramento River stugeon and more southern rivers. The Umpqua stock is actually a blend of these two discrete population segments, but is genetically closer to the Rogue and Klamath sturgeons. "Spawning does appear to take place in the Umpqua River, but is probably rare." (p.12) |
