NotesThe superintendent of the Umpqua fish hatchery expected to have funding to make significant improvements. "Fish warden Van Dusen will recommend the legislature for an appropriation of $4000 for a dam to be erected to retain the fish in lieu of the racks that are used at the present time. At present, there is only a bunk house and the racks at the location but there is sufficient appropriation on hand for the erection of a hatchery building and a house for the superintendent."
