NotesThe authors analyzed 9100 records of fishes collected in Oregon and compared them to geographic regions, river basins and aquatic eco-regions in the state. Analyses of the distribution of native species allowed the authors to break the state down into seven ichthygeographic regions: Coast Range ecoregion, Umpqua River Basin, Rogue River Basin(Sierra Nevada ecoregion), Willamette River Basin (West Cascades ecoregion), Blue Mountain ecoregion, Klamath River Basin and endorneic lakes. Includes key fish species for each region.
