Suggests possible function for the points might be that of fishing spears. Discusses evidence for this hypothesis from this and other archeological sites in the region. A number of Umpqua Basin stemless projectile points have tested positively for exposure to trout antiserum, indicating that at some time they have been in contact with fish.
